It’s the little things that matter most, or so the saying goes, which was the entire idea behind this short-form TV campaign. Agency Allen & Gerritsen came to us to produce these minimalist :15 spots with a total less-is-more vibe, in an effort to capture the suspense and excitement (or fear!) in that moment before getting the result of a pregnancy test.
It’s a highly-personal, intimate moment so to capture that charged situation without introducing any distractions we relied solely on voice over acting to drive the story. Visually the spots feature the e.p.t. pregnancy test itself - with a simple move toward camera, revealing either a positive or negative test result timed perfectly to an exuberant OMG or sigh of relief. To enable this we produced a photo-real 3D model of the product that allowed unparalleled control to get the move just right.
Voice actors were put to test in capturing the emotion behind the revelation of starting a family or conversely the relief of avoiding an unwanted pregnancy. The result was a successful campaign that stood out due to its striking simplicity and emotional connection to the audience. Because as anyone can agree, in a lifetime of moments THAT moment is a big one.
